Converting a successful Etsy shop into a Shopify e-commerce store

After discussing Claire’s requirements and budget, she decided that building the Shopify website herself was her first option. Claire had a successful Etsy shop and wanted to create an e-commerce site to complement this activity. Guidance was provided to help her achieve this goal, avoid potential pitfalls, and so on, marking the conclusion of our initial interaction. 

A month later, Claire got in touch again as she needed more hands-on support to complete the Shopify site. She was spending a lot of time trying to work out why certain elements were not functioning as expected and wanted to know if there was a way to receive 'coaching' through the process of building a Shopify site.

The cost of this type of project is relatively low (15% of a full Shopify build) because the customer carries out the activity tasks such as adding content, while Business Think completes the more complex elements. These include data manipulation to import all existing products into Shopify, avoiding the need to add them one by one, correctly setting up purchasing options and site settings, and refining the design to ensure it looks as professional as possible. Training was provided during two Zoom coaching sessions, and finally, the technical steps needed to launch the website and connect it to the domain were completed.

Claire had the peace of mind that, at any point, if she was stuck or unsure, she could ask a specialist a question and receive an answer.
